Why did you post this without my permission Snuggles?

I don't mind you letting people in to the day-to-day workings of EG, but I do require a primary read over any information that is given out. You know my stance on editorial control and you know the trouble we've been in before.

It's sad we have to have these disagreements in public Snuggles, but if you will insist on stepping out of line then someone has to rein you back in.

Apart from this little mishap, it was a good summary of life in EG. I have a few critiques to make but I shall make them in private - where this should have first been posted!

Just because you receive special treatment from the higher ups does not mean you are outside of the bounds of my authority. You should expect to see yet another warning added to your ever-growing list. It is sad I have to extend EG practices onto this forum, but you leave me no choice Blawrf.

I think Kcalb is being misunderstood here. Sigma isn't the gay battalion, only gays, if you're outed you're automatically switched to Sigma. What he means is that they take the idea of being an internet safe place for LBGT players very seriously. Not because the other squads are explicitly bigoted (thecrate is Theta president), but because that's gamer culture. Sigma really pushes against that, which honestly is probably part of why Theta picks on them so much. It's like when DaiTengu started editing women to 'womyn'. Sure, his hearts probably in the right place, but how can you NOT make fun of that?

cant really speak for the CFC outside of TEST and GSF, but both TEST and GSF are very laid back for nullsec alliances, we dont care about KB stats or k/d ratios or any of that ~elitepvp~ stuff. you can expect a lot of joking around on comms unless we are in combat. We love to shower cute newbros in isk and ships. Whatever EVE related activity you are into there is probably a special interest group in the alliance that you can join of others who share that interest (i.e. recon, black ops, industry, mining, exploration, etc).

joining fleets is a simple affair, jabber ping goes out, you simply join the fleet in the fleet finder (just make sure you are in the right system and flying the correct ship for that doctorine or when all else fails just show up in a rifter).

If you are easily offended nullsec is not the place for you, profanity, off color/dirty/politically incorrect jokes, and **** in local are all pretty standard fare in all of nullsec.

TL;DR we are mainly out there to have fun and really dont care about the ~ebushido~ that other alliances seem to obsess about.
